Yvonne Harvell

Yvonne Harvell, age 87, passed away on June 25, 2023, at her residence in Hahira. She was born on June 12, 1936, in Calera, AL, to the late Cyrus Trash and Vera Ellen Busby Thrash. Mrs. Harvell worked as a hairdresser for 36 years and also as a secretary. Along with her occupational pursuits, she enjoyed baking, dancing, and spending time with friends, earning the affectionate title of "social butterfly." She and her husband, Bobby Harvell, loved dancing together. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Harvell is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Doug Whittle, of Hahira; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Anita Harvell, of Watertown, NY; her grandchildren, T.G. (Heather) Chaney, of Jacksonville, NC, Toja (Cory) Bellant, of Valdosta, and Candi (Matthew) Monahan, of Ligonier, IN; her great grandchildren, Waylon Chaney, Bobby Chaney, both of Jacksonville, NC, Cadence Ballant, Cason Bellant, Cayla Bellant, Caylee Bellant, Damon Monahan, Mileena Monahan, and Arya Monahan, all of Valdosta, GA; and a sister Ellen Musgrove, of Donaldsonville, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby Harvell and a brother Beny Thrash.
