Willie Joe Herring

WILLIE JOE HERRING, 48, of Lake Park died Thursday, October 28, 2004 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Valdosta on April 30, 1956 to Clara Bell Dasher Herring and the late Harry Herring and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mr. Herring was a shop foreman with Sunset Farms and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Jason and Jennifer Herring of Lake Park, a daughter, Holley Herring of Valdosta, a granddaughter, Katelyn Thomas of Valdosta, his mother, Clara Bell Dasher Herring of Lake Park, two sisters, Ola Jean Miley of Lake Park and Ann Wilson of Clyattville, one brother, Jimmy Herring of Hahira.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Monday, November 1, 2004 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Dr. Henry Cannington will officiate.Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
