William N. (Bill) Nunn, 71, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on May 19, 1944 in Jesup, GA to the late William Glenn Nunn and Olive Robinson Nunn. Mr. Bill Nunn was an art teacher, educator and was a retired case worker with the Department of Family and Children Services. He taught art at Gainesville, GA High School and in the Valdosta City Schools. Mr. Nunn was very artistic with ceramics, wood and metal. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, sang in the choir, was a mentor for several years with EFM with the church and enjoyed playing the organ.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Nunn of Valdosta, his son and daughter in law, Kip and Tina Nunn of Hahira, daughter and son in law, Jan Nunn Skinner and Todd Skinner of Jacksonville, FL, four grandchildren, Olivia Nunn, McKey Nunn, Leila Skinner and Emily Skinner.
Memorial services will be held Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10:30 a. m. at Christ Episcopal Church with Father Dave Johnson and Father Peter Ingeman officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Christ Episcopal Church Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Christ Episcopal Church, 1521 North Patterson Street, Valdosta, GA 31602.
