William George Wynne, 52, of Valdosta died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born in Quitman on October 5, 1960, he was the son of the late John E. Wynne and Betty Benefield Wynne. Mr. Wynne served two years in the United States Army and owned Wynne's Logging. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his daughter and her fiancé, Jessica Wynne and Javaris Hicks, his granddaughter, McKenzie Hicks all of Valdosta, his sister, Gail Wolfe of Quitman. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wynne.
Memorial services will be held at 11am, Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Chaplain Jeff May officiating. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
