William (Bill) Edward Glock, 93, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 2, 2026.

Bill was born December 19, 1932, to the late John Glock and Mary Burke Glock. Bill grew up in Boston and it was there he met his wife, Clare, whom he married on July 4, 1959. He then joined the U.S. Air Force where he served for over 21 years. He attended GA Military College where he attained degrees in criminal justice and general studies. Bill’s time in the Air Force eventually brought him and his family to Valdosta. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he worked as a courier at SGMC. Bill was also a member of the Knights of Columbus where he achieved Fourth Degree Knighthood.

Bill was extremely charismatic and enjoyed good conversations and loved to laugh. Being a native Bostonian was something he was particularly proud of and wore as a badge of honor his entire life, it was sure to be brought up in his everyday conversations he had with anyone willing to listen.

Bill had a love for German Shepards and horses. He had a horse at Paso Fino Farms that he loved very much. Bill and Clare enjoyed vacationing in St. Augustine and playing pool and trips to Grassy Pond. Bill was an avid New England Patriots fan and a self-proclaimed “foodie”. He enjoyed fine dining and frequented Mom and Dad’s and Cracker Barrel, two of his favorite restaurants.

He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Glock; grandchildren, Cassie White, Seth Glock, Christopher Patrick, Courtland Glock, and Krista Glock; and great-grandchildren, Camden, Emersyn, and Amiston White, Clare Glock, and Tala Ryder, Daxton, and Teela O’Brien-Patrick. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58 years, Clare Glock; son, William (Bill) John Glock; brother, John Glock; sister, Margaret Botello; and great-grandchild, Chayton O’Brien-Patrick.
