Wallace Reeves

Wallace "Bud" Edward Reeves, Sr., 73, of Valdosta passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 after a six year battle with cancer. He was born in Pleasantville, New Jersey to the late David Myer and Eva Horton Reeves. Bud was a prior resident of Linwood, New Jersey and Toano, Virginia. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and worked for many years in the autobody and fender industry. Mr. Reeves was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Anne, daughter and son in law, Linda and Bryan Glynn of Hahira, son and daughter in law, Wallace, Jr. and Jessie of Galloway, NJ., his grandchildren, Lauren (Glynn) and husband, Cyle Kaercher of Kileen, TX.., Paul and Katelyn Glynn of Hahira, Dylan, Samantha and Zachary Reeves of Little Egg Harbor, NJ., great grandchildren, Chloe and Carter Kaercher of Kileen, TX., his sisters, Evelyn Sapienzo of Williamsburg, VA. and Joan Reeves of Illinois, special niece, Dottie and husband, Don Locker of Port Charlotte, Fla.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Bemiss United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Hospice, 101 Northside Dr., Valdosta, GA 31602 or to Hope Lodge in c/o Shands Hospital, 1600 SW Archer Rd., Gainesville, Fla 32608.
