Victor “Vic” Paulk, aged 60, of Valdosta, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 23, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Vic was raised in Willacoochee, Georgia, where he graduated from Atkinson County High School, proudly playing on the football team.

Following high school, Vic served his country in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. During his military service, he took part in the invasion of Panama. After completing his service, Vic returned to South Georgia and pursued higher education, attending Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) and Valdosta State University (VSU), where he earned a degree in sociology.

In 1999, Vic began a dedicated career at Greenleaf, where he served for 27 years and held the position of Director of Admissions. Known for his skillful hands, Vic enjoyed carpentry projects that brought joy and utility to his family’s home. He was also an enthusiastic supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs, cheering them on every fall.

Vic is survived by his loving wife, Angie Paulk of Valdosta; daughters Madison Paulk of Valdosta, Elizabeth (and Jack Jacobs) Paulk of Tifton, Makayla Paulk of Macon, and Heather Sarbin of North Carolina; his brothers and their spouses, Marshall and Linda Paulk of Mt. Olive, NC, Michael and Pam Paulk of Willacoochee, and Forrest and Judy Paulk of Suches, GA; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Victor was excited and looking forward to welcoming a grandson in the fall. He was preceded death by his parents Marshall Edward Paulk, Sr. and Harriett Rae Gaskins Paulk.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Good Hope Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared on the obituary page at www.mclanecares.com.
