Travis Keith Moore

Travis Keith Moore, born on February 9, 1987, in Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on May 15, 2024, at North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He was the beloved son of Darlene Barry and the late Franklin Keith Moore and was deeply cherished by all who knew him.

Travis a Christian of strong faith was an industrial electrician and a jack of all trades, Travis had a passion for guns and a remarkable gun collection. He found joy in grilling, fishing, and fixing and building various things. Travis had a big, kind heart of gold and never met a stranger. His generosity and warmth touched the lives of many.

Travis is survived by his mother, Darlene Barry, and stepfather, Drew Barry of Thomasville, GA; his two brothers, Brandon Moore and wife Candice of St. Johns, FL, and Shawn Moore and wife Kaitlyn of Hahira, GA; his sisters, Ryan Watson and husband Curt of St. Marys, GA and Taylor Oglesby and husband Robert of Canton, GA; and his paternal grandmother, Jean (Hayes) Moore of Valdosta, GA. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Megan Pearce of Hahira, GA, and numerous extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Keith Moore; his paternal grandfather, Ronald Moore; and his maternal grandmother and grandfather, Marilyn Shiver and Eddie Shiver.

Services for Travis will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Carson McLane Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the services at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
