Thurston Michael Blunt, 70, of Valdosta, passed from this life on December 17, 2025, following a long illness. Born on July 11, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of Nancy Wollett Blunt and the late Thurston Howard Blunt. Thurston worked as a contractor for Standard Contractors.

Survivors are his son, Landon Bullard of Valdosta; brother, James (Dianne) Blunt of Lake Park, a sister, Victoria Jernigan of Valdosta and his mother, Nancy Blunt.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Mr. Rickey Young officiating. Carson Mclane Funeral Home has been entrusted to care for the Blunt family.
