Thomas Julian Swails

Thomas (T.J.) Julian Swails, 44, of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. He was born on October 1, 1978 to Thomas Swails and Dianne Downing Swails. He loved his family and was family oriented. He had many friends, and loved to hunt, fish, and the outdoors. He loved his job at PCA, where he had worked for 21 years, and his family of co-workers.

T.J. is survived by his wife Kristen Swails, of Valdosta; his children, Cameron Swails, Macy Swails, both of Hahira, Kaylee Gaston, Kaden Gaston, both of Valdosta; his father Tommy Swails, of Valdosta; special friends Tyler Rehberg, of Lake Park, GA, and Jeff Blanton, of Valdosta, GA, James Tyson, of Valdosta, Brent Fletcher, of Lake Park, Tyler Altman, of Lake Park, Terrance Roberts, of Valdosta, Glenn Arnold, of Valdosta, and Adrian Garland, of Valdosta; and many close loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Diane Swails, his grandparents, Dan and Myrtle Swails, and Julian and Thelma Downing.

A funeral service for T.J. will be held at 4pm on Saturday, January 28, 2022 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7p.m. at the funeral home.
