Terrell Franklin "Chic" Powell, 84, of Adel passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at South Georgia Medical Center in Lakeland, Ga. He was born April 22, 1930, in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Lonnie and Susie Powell. Mr. Powell served in the Georgia National Guard and was retired From Goldkist where he was plant manager.

Mr. Powell is survived by several family members including a son, Chase Powell of Adel, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife Hilma Jean Powell and a brother, Donnie Powell.
At the request of Mr. Powell's family, he will be cremated with no formal services taking place. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home, Valdosta.
