Stephen E. Fontaine

Stephen E. Fontaine, 57, of Lake Park, GA, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 surrounded by his family, after a long illness. One of eight children, he was born in Savannah, GA, to Lawrence James and Alice Bess Fontaine. Stephen enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with family.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, David Paul Fontaine (Jenny) of Charleston, SC; two daughters and one son-in-law, Candace Fontaine of Atlanta, GA; Danielle Allen (David) of White Springs, FL; one grandson, Cameron Allen of White Springs, FL; his parents, Larry and Bess Fontaine of Valdosta; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Cecelia Chinn (Kenny) of Jacksonville, FL, Laura Bellamy (Tim) of Valdosta, GA, Susan Brewster (Dale) of Dalton, GA, Catherine Beiswenger (Bill) of Colorado Springs, CO; his twin brother, Douglas Fontaine of Valdosta, GA; two brothers and sisters-in-law; David Fontaine (Barbara) of Valdosta, GA and Michael Fontaine (Tanya) of Lake Park, GA; three aunts; Catherine "Mimi" Giardini, Cornelia Thompson, and Cecelia Swayze; one uncle, Bill Carswell; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Stephen E. Fontaine will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in the Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel with Father Chris Ortega officiating.
