Stella Brinkman Carpenter, 47, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Thursday November 13 2025. She was born to Judi Britt and the late John Brinkman on July 3 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Carpenter graduated from VSU, and was a devoted teacher and educator, having taught in the Lowndes County school system, in particular at Lake Park Elementary School.

She is survived by her husband, Bo Carpenter of Valdosta, GA; daughter, Samantha Lane “Lanie” Parker (Fess) of Jefferson, GA; grandson, Waylon Parker of Jefferson, GA; sister, Samantha Vann (Matt) of Pendergrass, GA; brother, Justin Britt (Terry) of Sugar Hill, GA; parents, Judi Britt (Jeff) of Flowery Branch, GA; sister in law, Priscilla Carpenter; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her father, John Brinkman; father in law, Kimball (Kim) Carpenter, mother in law, Patricia (Pat) Carpenter, and brother in law, James (Alex) Carpenter.
