Sharon Smith

Sharon Smith, 61, of Valdosta passed away at her residence on Monday, October 23, 2023. Sharon was born to Raymond Davis and the late Linda Lee Davis in Hahira, GA, on December 11, 1961.

Sharon graduated from Lowndes High school, where she was a member of the Georgia Bridgemen. She enjoyed going to the beach and traveling. She also loved camping and bowling. Sharon worked many years as a manager for Burger King corporation, where she loved interacting with people. She also enjoyed decorating for all holidays.

Sharon is survived by her father, Walter Raymond Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Casey and John Burnsed all of Valdosta; sister and brother-in-law Judy and Mike Messer of Quitman; sister and brother-in-law Sue and Tom Frost of Madison, FL; granddaughter, Rhylynn Burnsed; and many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother Linda Lee Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, October 26, 2023 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Colquitt County.
