Scott David Fairchilds

Scott David Fairchilds, 42, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at the Langdale Hospice House following a long illness. He was born in Valdosta, but traveled the country and Europe extensively following his love of singing and working in the culinary field.

Scott is survived by his mother, Alta Knowles of Lake Park; sisters and brother-in-laws, Leslie and Rich Carlson of Durango, CO, Teresa and Tommy Lumpkin of Valdosta, and Beth and Tim Hines of Valdosta; ten nieces and nephews; and a maternal aunt, Nina and husband Charles King of Valdosta. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, J.M. and Chloe Singletary of Remerton.
