Sandra Stevenson

Sandra Stevenson, 67, of Coraopolis, Pa., passed away on June 25, 2012 at the home of her sister, Joan Dear (Allan), Valdosta. She is also survived by a brother, Richard B. Stevenson (Kathie), Pittsburgh, Pa.; an aunt, Ann Coslow of Sarasota, Fla.; and nieces and nephews. Her parents were the late H. Barton and Mary Wehner Stevenson of Pittsburgh.

She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University and was a retired teacher of the arts. Although she had many talents and gifts, she was known for her generosity, encouragement of others, and creativity. She loved meeting people and making new friends, and enjoyed creating unique jewelry, gardening, photography, decorating and traveling.

The Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012, at Christ Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 1521 N. Patterson St., Valdosta, GA 31602. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills, Pa.
