Sandra (Sandy) Register

Sandra (Sandy) Register of Valdosta, GA, passed away on Friday, 11 July 2025. She was born in Wilmington, NC, to the late James Thomas Smith and Doris Rae Jones Smith on October 10 1940. Sandy was of the Baptist faith and attended Cherry Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her grandson, Zach & Annika Register of Hahira, GA; her daughter in law, Kathy Register & Wayne Sirmans of Valdosta, GA; and sister, Linda & Nole McClellan of NC; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ivey (Joe) Register; her son, William (Bill) Register; her brother, Randall Smith; and her sister, Carolyn Smith West.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, 18 July 2025 at 11am at the Cherry Creek Baptist Church. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at 10am. Burial will follow at Cherry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanecares.com.
