Ruby (Aunt Snooks) Ulmer

Ruby (Aunt Snooks) Ulmer, 93, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, after a lengthy illness. Born on December 9, 1915, in Dasher, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Henrietta Wisenbaker Ulmer. Ms. Ulmer was a homemaker and member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.

Survivors include her sister, Louise Tenly of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; nieces, Connie Adair of Slidell, Louisiana, Carla Schmitt and Carol Spychalski of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; nephews, Jerry Dykes of Valdosta and Rod Tenley of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Dykes and Mae Ahrens, brothers, Jimmy Ulmer and Roy Ulmer, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Dasher Cemetery. Mr. James Colwell will officiate.
