Royce Williams, 82, a native of Donaldsonville, Georgia, passed away on August 14, 2026, following a short illness.

Royce was a loving father, stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed gardening, watching westerns, traveling, and, most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the many special memories he created throughout his life.

Royce was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jo Sirmans Williams; his second wife, Marie Strappel Williams; his parents, Coy Lester Williams and Flora Davis Williams; his sister, Dale Williams Arnold; and his son-in-law, John Koebble and great granddaughter Kodee Marie Ehinger.

Royce proudly served his country as a Vietnam War Veteran. During his military service, he received two Bronze Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, an Army Commendation Medal, and Marksman honors. Following his military service, he was employed by PCA for 51 years. He was also a former member of the Elks Lodge.

Royce is survived by his daughter, Pamela Koebble; stepdaughters, Marina Frazier of Lake Park, Cathy (William) Davis of Lake Park, Lisa (Terry) Lambert of Hahira, and Barbara Strappel Fender of Lake Park; and his sister, Margaret (Luke) Wisenbaker of Clyattville.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Caleb Koebble, Kaitlynn Koebble, Jared Koebble, Logan (Elaina) Frazier, Kayla (Kevin) Rains, Zach Lambert, Ashley (Kyle) Ehinger, Kellsie (Kristian) Ruane, Jessica (James) Devane, Julie Davis, William Davis, Megan (Kaleb) Marks, Robbie Fender, and Gage Fender, along with 18 great-grandchildren.

Royce will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love of family, his service to his country, and the memories he leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Services for Royce Williams will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Church of God (Swilley Hill), with Rev. Andy Pearson officiating.
