Ronald Gene "Ronnie" Jackson

Ronald Gene “Ronnie” Jackson, 47, of Valdosta, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at his home. He was born in Valdosta on October 17, 1972 to Charles M. Jackson and the late Gloria Suggs Jackson. After graduating high school, he worked for South Eastern Freight for 20 years as a supervisor. Ronnie enjoyed being outdoors; fishing, woodworking, and “tinkering” with his father. He also enjoyed watching college football. Ronnie was a family man, loving his daughters and grandchildren with all he had.
Survivors include his daughters and son in law, Laine and Cale O’Neal, of Hahira, and Shayla Jackson, of Valdosta; grandchildren, Kennedy O’Neal and Connor O’Neal, of Valdosta; his father, Charles M. Jackson; one niece and two nephews; and lifelong partner, Lynn Loftus of Valdosta. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Jackson, and brother, Matt Jackson.
