In Memoriam: Robert Michael "Bob" Seko (07-14-1941 / 02-23-2024)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Michael "Bob" Seko, who peacefully departed this life on February 23, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born on July 14, 1941, he was the devoted son of the late Michael and Margaret (Churchran) Seko.
Bob proudly served his country in the US Air Force and after retiring from service embarked on a successful career as a locksmith, owning his own business for two decades. His passion for history, particularly the Civil War, was evident as well as his love for learning and collecting. However, above all, Bob found his greatest joy in the company of his beloved family.
He is survived by his dear wife, Deborah (Carter) Seko, four loving daughters, a cherished brother, and adoring grandchildren. Bob leaves behind a legacy of warmth and love, not only within his immediate family but also among numerous extended family members and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, all services will be held privately, allowing those closest to him to share their memories and celebrate a life well-lived. May Bob rest in eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished moments that will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who knew him.
