Robert F. Oliver, 82, of Valdosta, passed away June 23, 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Melody Oliver of Lawrenceville, GA and preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jo Moore Oliver and parents, Thomas W. and Irma F. Oliver. Mr. Oliver served in the U.S. Army and was an Elementary and Middle school music teacher in Lowndes County. He retired from Valdosta State University. A grave side service will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 3:00PM. Carson McLane Funeral Home is serving the family.
