Robert Jeremy Cole, born on April 24, 1989, in Roswell, Georgia, passed away on March 7, 2024, in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved son of Robert Gary Cole and Marcie Stitzel Haslam.
Jeremy, as he was affectionately known, was a devoted husband to his wife Brie, a loving father to their children Spencer and Ella, and his sons Micheal and Mathew from a previous marriage. He is survived by his sisters Ashleigh Hossom (Alex) and Hannah Haslam, his brother Jack Haslam, his stepfather Tom Haslam, his stepmother Stephanie Cole, his grandmother Anne Cole, and his in-laws Cathi & David Brown and Chip & Tami Griffin. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Cole and grandmother Nancy Stitzel Darrow.
Jeremy had a deep love for his family and friends, always willing to lend a helping hand and bring joy to those around him. His infectious laughter and generous spirit made him the life of the party. He touched the lives of many with his kind heart and selfless nature.
Growing up, Jeremy was an avid collector of baseball cards and firearms. He was a passionate fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Atlanta Braves. He found joy in music, video games, having a cold beer, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
In his professional life, Jeremy worked in the food service industry for many years before pursuing a role as a Production Manager at Berry Global. He was also a dedicated volunteer firefighter in Georgia, demonstrating his commitment to serving his community.
Jeremy and Brie were married on July 20, 2023, in Carbondale, PA, after being together for 12 years, most of which were spent in Lake Park, Georgia. Their love story was one of strength and devotion, and together they built a beautiful family.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Jeremy's life will be held on March 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park, GA. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his laughter and spirit live on in the memories shared by those he leaves behind.
