Robert Thomas Robé was born in Kenilworth, NJ on July 23, 1946. After graduating from Jonathan Dayton Regional High School, he joined the United States Air Force and served on a Medevac team in Vietnam. Once he was back to civilian life, Bob earned a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist degree and spent his career at various facilities in New Jersey, Florida, and Georgia.

An avid sportsman, Bob enjoyed fishing, tennis, scuba diving, and racquetball while living in sunny South Florida. Later, he moved to Valdosta, Georgia, where he was a regular at the Valdosta State University football games and made donations to help fund local sports teams. He also loved to cook (especially Brunswick Stew), drive fast cars, and play with his Doberman Pinschers Max and Vicky.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ottmar Robé and Margaret Flynn Robé, and brothers Edward and Thomas Robé. He is survived by his sister Marjorie Davenport, son Christopher (Dana) Robé, granddaughter Nora, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Bob will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The family will visit prior to the service from 1-2pm. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanecares.com.
