Robert Allen Courson

Robert Allen Courson, 52, of Hahira, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019. He was born in Valdosta on September 23, 1967. Robert was a supervisor with Smith Unitherm Insulation Contractors, Tallahassee, FL. He was a Baptist.
Robert is survived by his mother Joyce Bailey and step father, Tommy Bailey whom he called “Daddy” of Hahira, father and step mother, William Roger and Faye Courson of Tifton, son, Evan “Skyler” Courson and sister, Shannon Lindsey of Hahira, special cousins, Wendy Robinette and Patricia Terry of Valdosta, special aunt, Linda Brown, several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vercie Mae and Ted Courson, aunt, Myra Courson, maternal grandparents, John and Vina Anderson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 2, 2019 at two p. m. in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Chaplain James Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow at Cat Creek Cemetery.
