Ricky Carney

Ricky Charles Carney, 66, of Valdosta, passed away at his residence on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, on January 31, 1955. Mr. Carney was the son of Charles L. Carney and Betty J. Newhouse Carney. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he was a machinist at Southern Carbide in Quitman, GA for many years. He enjoyed fellowship with people, gaming, yardwork, and reading.
Mr. Carney is survived by three sisters, Karen Evans, Carla Gracia, both of Valdosta, and Marta Carney of Vero Beach, FL: and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Cathy Leonard and Laura Lee Rentz.
