Richard Thomas Knott

Richard Thomas Knott, 87, of Valdosta, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at his home. He was born on May 21, 1936, to Andrew R. Knott and Jessie Mae Knott. Mr. Knott enjoyed bowling and high school football and was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his longtime companion Linda, of Valdosta, and his brothers, Donald Knott and Kenneth Knott, both of Orlando, Florida.

In honor of Mr. Knott's wishes, he will be cremated, and a solemn burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Orlando, Florida, at a later date. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
