Richard A. Hall, Jr.

June 2, 1951 — September 30, 2024

Valdosta, GA

On, September 30, 2024, his wings spanned and allowed him into his eternal home.

On June 2, 1951, Richard A Hall, Jr. was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Richard A. and Bertie Lou (Kilgore) Hall. After spending many years in Atlanta, and serving a  tour in the United States Air Force as a Paramedic, Rick made Lake Park, GA his home. In the late 80's and very early 90's Rick made himself known by being on the air waves. Going by the name "Rocking Rick" he quickly become a household name. After the radio station abruptly closed their doors Rick ventured off to an industrial job where he ended up with a life changing injury. Rick never let that injury slow him down. He later become employed by Target Stores in Valdosta working in the electronics department. Anyone who knew Rick knew he dedicated his life to Target. He also had a passion for his now 15 year old dog "Sky" who he asked about daily until his final words. He also was very dedicated on Sunday Mornings where he taught Bible Study at Corinth Baptist Church. Outside of his passion for his fur baby he was a huge fan of Star Wars, Star Trek and any of the space opera's of science fiction. An avid collector of anything dealing with these shows and movies. Rick had a hard fight on his hands at the end, and was mostly unexpected. He truly fought until his last breath. Rick left behind a sister Sandra Hagan, a nephew Eddie (Stephanie) Hagan, a niece Diana (Mark) King, a niece Kristen (Barry) Hartman, and a niece Tiffany. As well as many great nieces/nephews, and his beloved dog Sky. He is preceeded in death by his Father and Mother Richard and Bertie Lou Hall; a sister Barbara (Susan) Byers, and a brother in law J. Ed Hagan.

At this time there will be no services, we may have a celebration of life to be announced at a later time. Any donations should be made to Georgia Christian School, in memory of Richard A. Hall Jr.
