Richard Allen Myers

RICHARD ALLEN MYERS, 64, of Valdosta died Monday, February 11, 2008 at his home. He was born in Washington, DC on October 1, 1943 to the late Richard Allen, Sr. and Faith King Myers and was formerly of Madison, Florida and moved to Valdosta twenty five years ago. Mr. Myers was a graduate of Madison County Florida High School and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He retired from Owens Illinois after thirty years of service and a member of the Clyattville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Myers of Valdosta, stepson and stepdaughter in law, Brian and Nicky Titus of Valdosta, stepdaughter and stepson in law, Joyce and James Spriggs of Nashville, TN. and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Greenville, Florida with Pastor Sammy Reaves officiating.
