Rebecca Ann Shepherd, 74, of Lakeland, died on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born on September 29, 1951, in Ramseur, North Carolina to the late Willis Brown and Thelma Snow Brown. She worked in the citrus industry when she lived in Florida but also worked independently as a licensed CPA and well as a realtor. She loved her family beyond measure, enjoyed quilting, toll painting and was a member of Lakeland First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Shepherd is survived by her husband, Ray Shepherd of Lakeland, Georgia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alyssa and Jeramiah Brill and Mindy and Ryan Ray all of Lakeland, Florida; a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Ashley Robinson of Williston, Florida; her grandchildren, Ashlynn Oaks, Chloe Oaks, Melina Ray, Katlyn Ray, Anthony Robinson, and Ethan Brill; a great-grandson, Stetson Oaks; her dear friends, Billy Akerison, Wayne and Jemima Horton, and Phyllis and Hobart Keeton; her four-legged friends, Sissy and Paris.
