Raymond Lee Hendrix, Sr.

Raymond Lee Hendrix, Sr., 61, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his residence. He was born on January 4, 1958 in Valdosta to the late Thomas Raymond Hendrix and Patricia Ellerbee Hendrix Williamson. Mr. Hendrix worked for Shaw Industries for 20 years and had been in recent times employed with Jacuzzi. He loved to fish and enjoyed being in the great outdoors. He was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather and son. Mr. Hendrix was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his son, Lee Hendrix, Jr. of Valdosta; his daughter, Crystal Hendrix of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Shelby Woodward of Montana, Hannah Hendrix and Hunter Hall both of Valdosta; one great-grandchild, Rayden Browning; his mother, Patricia Hendrix Williamson, and a brother, Phillip “Butch” Hendrix all of Valdosta.
The family of Raymond Lee Hendrix, Sr., will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home with a memorial service with Stoney Gaskins officiating, beginning at 7:30 p.m. until the conclusion of the visitation at 8 p.m. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
