Randall (Randy) P. Parker, Sr., 72, of Valdosta, and formerly of South Carolina, died at his home on Friday, February 18, 2022, following a lengthy illness. Randy was born in Valdosta on November 16, 1948, a son of the late Elzie Ozieus Parker and Sara Jane Godwin Parker. He was a truck driver and had retired from M & R Trucking. He was a member of Gateway Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He loved to fish, and his favorite fishing buddy was his brother, Allen.
Survivors are his wife, Annie Ruth Parker of Valdosta; a son Randall Perry Parker, Jr. (Christine) of Nashville; daughter, Mary Ann Kilpatrick-Marshall (Tommy) of Valdosta, stepdaughters ,Lynn Lucado of Springfield, South Carolina, Melissa Moore of Aiken, South Carolina; Daniel Snellgrove of Branchville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Zackary Parker, Sean Parker, Ayden Parker, Rebekah Parker, Krystle Kilpatrick, McCoy Fennell and Nicole Rowe (Scott);great grandchild, Claire Rowe; brother, Allen Parker (Hilda) of Lake Park, sisters, Sarah Corbett (Jim) of Dasher and Linda Parker of Lake Park; step daughter in law, Brandie Fennell, sisters in law, Kay Parker, and Sandy Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a stepson Robert Fennell, brothers, James Parker, Johnny Parker, and Jeffery Parker.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Gateway Baptist Church with Reverend Jack Seiverd officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:30 p.m. There will be a cremains committal in the mausoleum at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
