Pearlie Powers Dupree

Pearlie P. Dupree, 93 of Hudson, FL and formerly of Lowndes County, died on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Bayonet Point Health and Rehab in Hudson. Born on April 16, 1911 in Cook County, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Nancy Bostick Powers. She was of the Primitive Baptist faith.

Survivors are a daughter, Shirley Oliver of Lake City, FL; sons, Harvey Dupree of Hudson, FL, Alton Dupree of Statenville, GA; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Wayne Dupree.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2004 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Cherry Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
