Pauline Peters Johnson

Pauline Peters Johnson, 95, of Lake Park, died at Baptist Village on Friday, May 6, 2011. A daughter of the late Virgil and Olive Chandler Peters, she was born on June 20, 1915 in Lowndes County. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a charter member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church.

Survivors are her daughter Frances Johnson Lane and spouse Richard A. Lane of Cumming; son, Earl Wilbur Johnson, Jr., and spouse Linda E. Johnson of Duluth; eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; son-in-law, Harold Dixon of Lake Park; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. (Candy) Johnson, Sr., a daughter, JoAnn Johnson Dixon and a sister, Julia McKie.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Reverend Tommy Bussey will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 – 7 p.m. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com
