Paul Worth

Paul Worth, 60, of Quitman, GA, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. He was born on April 18, 1964, to Dave and Mary Jo Worth in Waycross. As an ordained deacon, Mr. Worth was very dedicated to his faith and served at St. John’s Catholic Church. He always did everything he could to help anyone who needed assistance. He spent many years, from 1985-2012, as a network coordinator for Valdosta State University. In 1991, he married the love of his life, Susan Worth. They shared their lives for 33 years. As an avid classic car buff, Paul was president of the Checker Car Club of America and a member of South Georgia Classic Car Club. He was also an amazing woodworker, who used his talent to build his home with his own hands, including cutting the trees himself.

Paul’s legacy will live on through his loving wife, Susan; parents, Dave and Mary Jo Worth and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 12 P.M. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30-12 P.M.
