Patsy Thompson

Patsy Ruth Odom Thompson, 69, of Lake Park, passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. She was born on August 16, 1953 in Hahira to the late Junior Odom and Maidee Ruth Powell Odom Stanley. She loved gardening, and fellowship with friends and neighbors. She loved the Lord, all her family and friends dearly. Her favorite pastime was reading the Bible. She was a member of Swilley Hill Church of God.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Elizabeth Sutton, of Adel, David Rocky Odom, of Tennessee, Maxine and Wayne Swilley, of Valdosta, Ronda Neighbors, of Valdosta, George and Debbie Stanley, of Jennings, FL, and Betty and Kenneth Battles, of Valdosta; her children, Jason Lambert, of Georgia, Jennifer and Jason Herring, of Statenville, GA, and Andrew and Jamie Thompson, of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Jaden Thompson, Dalton Thompson, both of Valdosta, Cheyenne Herring, of Statenville, and Shelby Thompson, of FL; and many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Melvin Thompson, brothers Foster Stanley and Travis Stanley.
