Patricia Weekley Ash

Patricia Weekley Ash, 58, of Valdosta died Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the Langdale Hospice after a short illness. She was born on December 4, 1949 in Arcadia, Florida and had lived in Valdosta for the past thirty three years. Mrs. Ash was a member of New Covenant Church. She loved plants, flowers, antiques and auctions. Her greatest joy in life was her role as a grandmother. Mrs. Ash had a generous spirit and was never at a loss for words.

Survivors include her husband, Sam R. Ash, Jr. of Valdosta, daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Terry Yates of Valdosta, her grandchildren, Trey, Shelby, Tiffany and Brandy
her mother, Hortense Weekley Lundquist of Hayesville, NC., four sisters and two brothers in law, Candace Weekley, Susan Bowen both of Panama City, Fla., Marsha and Meigs Woodham of Chipley, Fla., Melinda and Eddie Herrin of Lakeland, Fla., one brother, Mike Pridgen of Port Charlotte, Fla., several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas P. Weekley.

Funeral services will be held at 4pm, Saturday, June 28, 2008 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Stephen officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3-4pm at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Arcadia, Florida.
