Pat McCrary, 82, of Valdosta, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on November 4, 1943, in Valdosta to the late Robert Evans Box and Mildred Amanda Rouse Box. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Avenue Church of Christ.

Pat is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Kathy and Greg Blanton, Missy and Michael Hiers, and Michelle Metts, all of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Lindsey Warren and Jay (Erin) Blanton, both of Valdosta, Heather Williams and Hailee Pike, both of Marietta, GA, Kaleb Pike of Virginia Beach, and Lexi Metts of Valdosta; her great-grandchildren, Noah Warren and Easton Warren, both of Valdosta; brother-in-law, David McCrary of Valdosta; sister-in-law Evelyn Box of Jacksonville, FL; special cousin and friend Dale Harris of Lutz, FL; many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and family members; and her sweet furbaby, Miss Kitty.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred McCrary; sister, JoAnn Box; and brother, Bobby Box.

A funeral service for Pat will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home, with Mr. John Klimko officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m.
