Myrtle J. Pfeffer, 75, of Valdosta, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Valdosta on March 11, 1950, to the late James Lowell Land and Lillie Dickerson Lane. Mrs. Pfeffer was of the Baptist faith and had been a caregiver all her life.
Mrs. Pfeffer is survived by her daughter Dana Duguid of Valdosta, her son James Marshall Thompson (Karen) of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Garrett Duguid, Tyler Duguid, Duran Huff, Corey Thompson, and Ashlynn Price; as well as seven great grandchildren.
