Montyne Fletcher Fay, 83, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 5, 2014 at home. Born August 31, 1930 in Valdosta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Sammuel Fletcher and Rennie Carter Fletcher. She was a member of Eastside Baptist and retired bookkeeper for Kirill Honda.
Mrs. Fay is survived by one son Stan Fay of Valdosta; a sister Inez Cotton of Calhoun, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews in addition to a whole host of church family.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Fay will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014, in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home in Valdosta with Skip Van Nuse officiation, interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday. Condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home, Valdosta.
