Michael Lee (Mike) Hamby

Michael Lee (Mike) Hamby, 52, of Thomasville, died on Monday, July 5, 2005, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Born in Valdosta on November 10, 1952, he was the son of William C. and Sue Kilcrease Hamby. Mr. Hamby was a musician. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a Protestant.

Survivors are his son, Christopher Lee Hamby of Jacksonville, Florida, granddaughter, Leigh Danielle Hamby of Norman Park; his mother, Sue Hamby of Valdosta; a brother, F. Calvin Hamby of Appling; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Stephen Hamby, and his grandmother, Polly Kilcrease.
