Michael Edward Mullins

Michael “Mike” Edward Mullins passed away at his home on January 31, 2024, at the age of 68.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nancy Mullins, and one brother, Jimmy Mullins. He is survived by his daughters, Michele Redfern (Mark Redfern) of Lake Park, Shannon Watts (James Watts, Jr.) of Lake Park, grandchildren, William C. Carter, Landreigh Redfern, and Everly Redfern all of Lake Park, brother, Ricky Mullins of Kentucky, sister, Beverley Warner, niece, Rebecca Litzenberger of Germany, and the mother of his children Alesia Dorminey of Valdosta.

Mike served his country by serving in the armed forces and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He would later go on to work in the “IT” department at Ole Miss University for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Pastor Rodney Tenery will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday night from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
