Michael David Morris

Michael David Morris, 52, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. Born in Sylacauga, Alabama, on November 21, 1968, Michael was a son of the late William David and Rebecca Ann Higgins Morris. An Army veteran, he worked as a Police Officer and then enjoyed working in Private Security. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time in the mountains. Michael was a big family man, honest and respectable, he enjoyed serving the public.
Survivors are his son, Chris Morris of Valdosta; daughter, Celeste Morris of Indiana; brother, Josh Morris of Atlanta. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Dawn Utter.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Brother Frank Gupton will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 – 8 P.M. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
