Maude Posey Casey

Maude Posey Casey, 92, of Valdosta, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Lakehaven Nursing Home after a short illness.

She was born October 26, 1921 in Butler County, a daughter of the late William and Miley Frie Posey. Mrs. Casey has lived in Valdosta for over fifty years, was a home maker and her husband, McDuffey Casey, had retired from the Georgia State Highway Department. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Casey will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Milton Sellars officiating.
