Mary M. Boatright, 83, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on October 9, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joel O. Boatright. 

She leaves behind her three children, Terri Cothron, Joel M. Boatright (Isabel) and Patricia Kearce (Greg) along with her four grandchildren, Hunter Cothron, Bayleigh Kearce, David Boatright, and Andrea Boatright. 

She was devoted to her family. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she gave generously of her time, energy, and affection. 

Mary enjoyed reading, words with friends and traveling through the Blue Ridge and Shenandoah Parkways while spending time with her family. 

In lieu of a funeral, her children will have a wake to celebrate Mary’s life. Family and friends are invited to gather at Park Place by McLane, 108 W Park Avenue in Valdosta, GA on Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. to share memories and honor her life.
