Mary Diane Griffin, 70, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026. She was born to the late Helen Olga and Donald T. Baltrus, Sr. in Edison, New Jersey on September 21, 1955.

Ms. Griffin was a loving mother and grandmother, and she worked as a cashier at Publix, where she was beloved by her customers.

She is survived by her daughters, Nichole Danielle (Garrett) Cannon of Dublin, GA and Bridgette (Blake) Bruce of Valdosta; grandchildren Christoper Cannon and Mary-Helen Cannon, both of Dublin, GA; brothers, Don Baltrus of Valdosta, Michael Baltrus of Nashville, TN, Bill Baltrus, and John Baltrus, both of Valdosta; sister, Marilyn Baltrus of Valdosta; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents; husband, Darrell E. Griffin of Nashville, GA; and brother, James Joseph Baltrus.
