Mary Catherine Coffey

Mary Catherine Coffey, 75, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Langdale Hospice House after a short illness. Born in Atlanta, on September 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Clyde Thomas Pendleton. Mrs. Coffey was a Nurse Practitioner for Dr. Frank Q. Smith and Southern OB/GYN until her retirement. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Jack N. Coffey, Sr., of Valdosta, her children and their spouses, Jack N. Coffey, Jr. of Valdosta, Catherine and Billy Cordell of Eustis, Florida, James and Shannon Coffey of Statesboro, Martica and Andrew Sharpless of Orange Park, Florida, Timothy Shawn and Barbara Coffey of Valdosta; six grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Susan and Robert Everett , Jean and Joe Wilson of Valdosta.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Dr. Wayne Robertson will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
