MARY ALICE ADAMS GIBBS

MARY ALICE ADAMS GIBBS, 63, of Hahira died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Brooks County on December 15, 1941 to the late David Martin and Mary Eunice Adams and was a lifelong resident of Hahira. Mrs. Gibbs attended the Hahira Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Benny Gibbs of Hahira, two sons and daughters in law, Glenn and Dana Gibbs, Ken Gibbs all of Hahira, two daughters and sons in law, Sissy and Lonnie Browning and Sherree and Allen Browning all of Lakeland, thirteen grandchildren, Amy Gibbs, Jacob Gibbs, Shawn and Kasie Gibbs, Justin Gibbs, Ryan Gibbs, Natasha Gibbs, Billy Hodges, Shane Hodges, David Browning, Sonya Browning, Brandon Harnage, Alex Harnage, Kyle Harnage, one great granddaughter, Haley Browning, three sisters and two brothers in law, Ovida and Marvin Evans of Moultrie, Ella Mae Johnson, Dorothy and Bill Stone all of Hahira, three brothers and two sisters in law, Johnny Jones of Starke, Fla., James and Judy Adams of Lake City, Fla., Paul and Mary Adams of Wachulla, Fla. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Vinn Gibbs, two sisters, Ruth Williams and Belle Creel and a brother, Tom Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, December 23, 2004 at the Hahira Church of God with Rev. Leonard Harnage officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Cecil.
