Martha Fugett

Martha Fugett, 65 of Valdosta, died on Monday, October 16, 2006, at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born on September 22, 1941 in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Maudell Roland McGee. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are sons and daughter-in-law, John Steven and Pattie Vaughn of Douglasville, Michael Keith Vaughn of Valdosta; a daughter, Marcia Lynn Twomey of Valdosta; granddaughters, Jessica Kalinowski and her husband, Eddy, Heather Flowers, Tonya Vaughn all of Valdosta; grandsons, Corey John Vaughn and Michael Jason Vaughn of Douglasville; a special great granddaughter, Madalynn Ann Marie Kalinowski; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nell J. Bates, Johnnie B. and John Fisher, Donna and Steve Brogdon, all of Valdosta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy B. & Dot McGee and Joey and Cora Rouse.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Kelley Barcol officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
