Marilyn Barfield

Marilyn Barfield, 64, of Valdosta, died on Monday, February 14, 2005. Born in Shreveport, LA to the late Harold & Vera Sims, Mrs. Barfield had lived in this area for the past 14 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Frost, of Woodstock, and Julie Harrison, of Acworth; two sons, William Randall Harrison and Brian Harrison, both of Shreveport, LA; two brothers and a sister in law, Harold & Lisa Sims, of Macon, and Dennis Sims of Shreveport, LA. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Heike Frost, of Woodstock, Jessica Harrison, Brooke Harrison, Keely Harrison, Brittney Harrison and Amber Harrison, all of Shreveport, LA; and several nieces and nephews. She was expecting her first great grandchild in April.
No services are scheduled for Mrs. Barfield. No flowers will be accepted and donations may be made to the Red Cross Tsunami Relief fund or the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 16633 N.
